Blackstone Library

In Kenwood, on the south shore of Chicago, T.B. Blackstone had this beautiful library built as a gift to the city in which he had made his fortune. Browsing stacks of books amongst the bronze accents, carved marble, and glass block floors floors is a thoroughly endearing experience at this neighborhood branch of the Chicago Public Library.
