Copley Square - Back Bay - Boson MA
Overlooking historic Copley Square and Trinity Church, the McKim Building of Boston's Central Library is an incredible treasure of the city's public library system. Inspired by Paris's Sainte-Geneviève Library, the structure is designed with a rectangular floor plan surrounding a lovely outdoor courtyard within. Inscribed in the exterior stonework, "built by the people and dedicated to the advancement of learning" & "Free to All" perfectly sums up our adoration of these public institutions.
