The underground expansion of this New York centerpiece is a wonderful example of rail terminal design and modern adaptation at its best. After the demolition of Penn Station in 1963, the passenger experience was seemingly irrelevant to urban planners, but arriving by rail at Grand Central is an incredible rider experience both functionally and aesthetically. This print pays tribute to a living monument of Midtown's energy, history, ingenuity, and beauty.
