Patterson Park Observatory

Baltimore MD
Often referred to as "The Pagoda" by locals because of it's east asian influence, this incredible civic structure was built as a Victorian-era lookout tower on historic Hampstead Hill as part of a broader beautification effort in Patterson Park during the late 19th century. Featuring a distinct octagonal shape with an iron spiral staircase on the interior leading to multiple balconies, the tower was designed to provide panoramic views of Baltimore and the harbor.
