Prospect Park Boathouse

In September of 1964, the New York City Parks Department was within forty-eight hours of demolishing the Boathouse in Prospect Park. Thankfully, preservationists stepped in and the building was eventually designated a New York City Landmark in 1975. The marble exterior and decorative elements reflected on the Lullwater is a beautifully serene blend of history and nature.
